The night and the flame - Ravel and Scriabin

The summit of Ravel's piano works, Gaspard de la Nuit is his most romantic. Its "boisterous music that makes the blood gallop" (Ricardo Vines), will take on its full, intense and hypnotic dimension at the Musée Moreau, with the reading of Aloysius Bertrand's poems that inspire it. From the devil to the divine, the step will be taken with Scriabin and his Poems where mysticism and music liberate and transfigure. From torment to ecstasy, from shadow to light.
