Charles Villeneuve de Janti, Conservateur général du patrimoine is appointed Director of the Établissement public du musée national Jean-Jacques Henner et du musée national Gustave Moreau by the Minister of Culture on June 1, 2023.

An alumnus of the École du Louvre, the Sorbonne and the Institut national du Patrimoine, he was initially in charge of the modern graphic arts cabinet at the Petit Palais, Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris, from 2007 to 2013. From 2013, he was in charge of the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nancy, and since 2016 of the museums of the City of Nancy, after having been in charge of their mutualization. In 2019, he joins the Paris Musées management team as Director of Collections and Research. In these positions, he curates numerous exhibitions in France and abroad.
