Drawing lessons: color copies

This cycle of courses offers students the opportunity to copy the museum's paintings in color, using the pastel pencil technique. In addition to learning how to use color, the landscapes, architectures, ornaments and bodies will be an opportunity for students to acquire notions of atmospheric and linear perspective, as well as composition and morphology.

You will draw from the paintings on the first and second floors of Gustave Moreau's studio, of which you will take at least five copies of works.

While acquiring a solid grounding in pastel drawing, akin to painting, this cycle will enable you to approach Gustave Moreau's art and technique in the very heart of his studio.

This course is open to beginners and more advanced artists alike. The teacher will adapt his corrections to the level of each student. Each class will begin with a demonstration.
